We fell hard for you. But you laughed when the stimulus didn't produce the jobs it was supposed to, and you said the "shovel ready jobs" weren't so shovel ready, after all. You borrowed money from us and spent it on Solyndra and your other girlfriends, and now all the money is gone. You promised us you could get us jobs if we'd "give in", but those jobs never materialized… And now we feel used.
What really opened our eyes was when you talked about us behind our backs. While you told unions you'd back out of NAFTA, your friends were telling Canada and Mexico you were just kidding. You told your friends our parents were rubes who "clung to their Bibles and their guns". We were surprised you'd talk like that about people we love, but we thought you were just kidding.
You traveled to other countries and told them we were arrogant and unfair. You whispered to that Russian guy to wait, that you'd “have more flexibility later”. When our friends were in trouble in Benghazi, you wouldn't help, and played cards while they were being murdered. Then you lied to us about it. You said you'd always protect us, but you didn't.
Now we find out you're stalking us. You are snooping in our personal business, our phone calls, and our emails. Keeping track of everything we do. You even called the IRS on us. Why? We did everything to help you. You were welcomed at all the best schools, even though your grades didn't measure up. You were named editor of the Harvard Law Review, even though you never published anything. And with virtually no qualifications, we elected you President.
In your book (did you even write it??), "Audacity of Hope", you spoke of how sacred the filibuster and the two-thirds vote were. How important they were to maintaining the Republic. But you just took both from us. I guess they were only sacred when your friends were in the minority. We quickly realized our dream was a nightmare.
It was bad enough when you changed the rules for obamacare to pass it with 51 votes and no filibuster, but when you told us, over and over, for five years, not to worry because we could keep our plans and our doctors when you knew it wasn't true, you showed us who you really were.
You’re so vain, you think everything is about you. “Selfies” at funerals, I, I, I, me, me, me, MY military, MY plans, my way or the highway. We get who you are. You're not all that handsome. You think you're cool, but you're not. You wear mom jeans, and throw like a girl. I know you think this will all blow over, and we'll be back, but I don't hold your breath. Obama, we're just NOT that into you.
